The creator of this material is a Texas teacher who recognized how “THE TEST” can take over instructional time. In order to use time more effectively, she has written reading passages that teach science objectives, making it easy to integrate the two subjects and save time! These passages are available on CD so teachers can print class sets for student use. CD’s are available for third, fourth, and fifth grades. CD-ROMs were written with teachers in mind. We hope they will allow you
to streamline your teaching so that you have enough time in your day to
teach things other than test-taking strategies! Since the passages are
on CD, you are welcome to modify them before printing them for your
class, if you see a need. If you have comments, concerns, or
